Team Member Spotlight: Samantha Liveli

From setting a welcoming tone at the front desk to supporting HR behind the scenes, Samantha brings energy, creativity, and a people-first mindset to everything she does. As an Administrative Assistant on the ICC-IMS HR team, she’s one of the first faces our team members see, and one of the first people they turn to for help, encouragement, or simply a good conversation.

Samantha’s natural warmth, passion for communication, and love of classic horror novels (more on that below!) make her a standout part of the ICC-IMS culture. Get to know her:

Three Words to Describe Yourself?

Creative, bubbly, and supportive. I love brainstorming new ideas, staying upbeat, and being someone others can rely on.

Favorite Music or Band?

I listen to all kinds of tunes, so picking just one favorite feels like a crime! I like to think I have an old soul when it comes to music. Some of my all-time favorites are Alice in Chains, Sublime, Stevie Nicks, Deftones, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana — but honestly, the list could go on forever.

How do you Manage Stress and Stay Productive?

Organization is huge for me. I live by my to-do lists and make sure I break tasks into manageable steps. I also take regular breaks to recharge, even if it’s just a quick walk or some light stretching. Staying connected with my team helps a lot too, sharing workloads and checking in makes everything feel a little more manageable.

To stay motivated, I remind myself of the bigger picture. I set small goals throughout the day, turn off distractions, and check in with my progress to keep that sense of momentum going.

What’s your Favorite Book?
Dracula is by far my favorite. It’s not just a vampire story; it’s a masterclass in blending horror with psychological depth. I love how Bram Stoker explores power, fear, and human vulnerability, all while creating this immersive, eerie atmosphere through letters and diary entries. It’s the kind of story that still gives you chills and makes you think.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most is employee interaction. With so many team members, it’s been such a joy getting to meet them and hear their travel stories, it really brings a personal touch to the workplace. I also love being the first face someone sees when they walk through the door. Just offering a smile or setting a positive tone can genuinely change the course of someone’s day, and the idea that I can have that kind of impact means a lot to me.

Being part of HR adds another layer of meaning; I get to be a safe space for employees. They know they can come to me or the HR team for support, and there’s something really rewarding about being that dependable presence they can count on.

Where do you think you have the biggest impact?

I think I make the biggest impact by keeping things running smoothly and staying approachable. Whether it’s maintaining employee records, helping with schedules, or offering a friendly face at the front desk, I enjoy being a helpful presence people can count on. I also take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment where people feel comfortable reaching out and asking for support.

Most important professional skill?

Effective communication. Whether you’re working on a team or independently, your ability to clearly express ideas, ask the right questions, and actively listen makes all the difference. Communication builds trust, prevents misunderstandings, and helps teams thrive, especially in fast-paced environments like ours.

What have you learned from your time at ICC-IMS?

I’ve learned just how powerful open communication and teamwork can be. The culture here encourages knowledge sharing, which makes everyone feel included and empowered. I’ve also seen firsthand how important it is to always be improving, no matter your role. It’s inspiring to be part of a team that’s so focused on growth and doing things better every day.

If you could have any superpower?

Telepathy! I’d love to know what people are really thinking, especially when I tell a joke and they say it’s funny. Are they just being nice? With telepathy, I’d know the truth. Plus, ordering lunch would be way easier.
