The ICC-IMS team took a quick break from conducting high-resolution pavement condition surveys with the IrisPRO Pave to soak in the awe-inspiring views of The Elephants Feet along U.S. Route 160 in Arizona.

While modern pavement typically lasts just a few decades (with consistent upkeep), these striking sandstone formations have endured nearly 200 million years of erosion.

A solid reminder that Mother Nature’s engineering still reigns supreme!
