You see how we mobilize our Fast Falling Weight Deflectometer? Very Demure. Very Mindful.
✨ Our team headed West to Riverside, California to perform deflection testing using our Fast FWD (Fast Falling Weight Deflectometer). Fast FWDs apply a known load to the pavement and measure the pavement response to the load
✨ Deflection testing is usually completed at least once in each direction in every street segment (every 300 – 500 feet) along the outside lanes of the roadway.
✨ A series of geophones records deflection readings for each section of pavement tested.
✨ These readings are used to determine the pavement strength, load transfer capabilities, and identify properties of the base and sub-grade.
