Iris is on the Road in Wyoming!

Wyoming, USA –  has been on the road in fascinating Wyoming! Completing a pavement condition survey for the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT), the project involves the collection of pavement distress data and HD images. This season’s collection covers roughly 10,535 lane miles of Wyoming roadways. Data is collected using the industry leading , ICC’s revolutionary pavement data collection system, which is capable of capturing the highest quality data on the market. The WYDOT collection cycle includes the collection of Interstate, Non-Interstate NHS data, and Non-NHS data. ICC will collect, process, verify, and deliver a pavement condition data set annually for WYDOT’s Pavement Management System (PMS). Throughout the project, a customized data quality management plan (DQMP) is used, ensuring quality data collection and delivery. Statewide data and images will be available for this and 5 previous years through Inform, ICC’s web-based data visualization application.

Over the last several weeks, Iris has gathered data in many wonderous places, such as the Devils Tower National Monument, which was the first in the United States and established on Sept 24, 1906, by then President Theodore Roosevelt.
