International Cybernetics Company (ICC) is excited to announce that it has completed a transaction to integrate the operations team and pavement testing equipment of Data Transfer Solutions, LLC (DTS), a subsidiary of AtkinsRéalis, into its expanding family. This move combines DTS’s pavement and roadway asset data collection services with ICC’s growing team of technology developers, pavement engineers, data specialists, and technical field staff.
Over the past decade, ICC and DTS have developed a strong partnership, with ICC developing and maintaining the advanced pavement testing equipment used by DTS for high-quality, automated data collection and analysis.
With a track record of servicing over 600 municipal and county agencies, numerous public works departments, and several state transportation authorities, ICC welcomes the opportunity to continue serving DTS’s existing clientele through its services division, IMS Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), and offer an even a broader range of services such as structural testing, pavement consulting, and ADA compliance planning.
This deal strengthens ICC’s position in the market, enhancing its collection of cutting-edge data systems for pavement, sidewalk, and right-of-way assets. “I am thrilled to have the experienced DTS asset data collection team members join the ICC family,” stated ICC’s CEO, Michael Nieminen, P.E., P.Eng. “We are excited by the opportunity to continue to provide DTS’s clients with the best-in-class service to which they have become accustomed, supported by ICC’s world-class software and complementary services capabilities.”
ICC is proud to continue its long-standing relationship with AtkinsRéalis. “We look forward to offering our services to AtkinsRéalis in the future as a preferred provider for clients who require road network surveying and asset extraction services,” Nieminen added. “This transaction broadens our growing list of clients for data collection and analysis. With today’s announcement, we are even better positioned to help keep more governments’ roads and sidewalks safe, while optimizing the long-term budgetary requirements of our local and state agency clients.”
