Nevada DOT SFT Delivery & Training

Largo, FL – New this week, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) took delivery of ICC’s SFT Friction Trailer (SFT 5041), which was upgraded and equipped with new sensors and components, like DGPS. NDOT also retired and replaced their friction truck for a newer model and participated in an equipment training day at their Nevada facility.

Having supplied testing equipment and working with NDOT for more than 20 years, we are proud to assist NDOT with their ongoing Mission, to “Provide, operate, and preserve a transportation system that enhances safety, quality of life and economic development through innovation, environmental stewardship and a dedicated workforce.”

ICC’s SFTs meet ASTM and AASHTO standards, have options for imaging and texture to enhance data and provide robust, efficient, and reliable friction data for roadways, bridges, and specialized pavements, like patterned pavements and HFST.
