This week, we have the immense pleasure of honoring Lois Somers, who is celebrating her 30th work anniversary with us here at ICC-IMS. Lois began her journey with ICC while she was still in high school, and over the years, she has become an indispensable part of our team. Starting in a time when everything was done manually—yes, handwritten processes!—Lois has seen and been a driving force behind the evolution of our company.
From administration to production and sales, Lois has worn many hats over the years. She’s been our go-to person no matter the department, always ready to tackle any challenge. Her long history with ICC has proven invaluable many times, allowing her to know the full history of various projects and processes, often figuring out one-time issues and handling those “headaches” that no one else wants to deal with—whether it’s project contracting or migrations from acquisitions.
Lois embodies what it means to be a true team player. With a low ego and a high level of commitment, she’s always willing to pitch in wherever needed. She works late, puts in extra time without being asked, and has tackled countless difficult tasks over the years, all with a focus on getting the job done right. Her strong understanding of the space in which we operate has also led her to interact with many clients, making her a critical part of our team’s success.
Her dedication to ICC shines through in everything she does, including the countless hours she spent mastering Epicor software, streamlining our processes, and taking accounting classes to ensure she could serve the company even better.
On a personal note, Lois is a devoted mother of two, with a son who’s a senior and a daughter who’s a freshman in high school. She’s heavily involved in their studies and sports, as well as in her church and her husband’s business.
Thank you, Lois, for 30 incredible years of hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment. Here’s to many more years of success together! Lois truly embodies what it means to be a part of the ICC-IMS family, and we are incredibly grateful for her three decades of hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment.
Thank you, Lois, for everything you do. Here’s to 30 amazing years and many more to come!
